A Message from our President -

Phil Kubichka

Spring is in the air, days are getting longer and the thought of sunny afternoons in the garden is not too far off.  It's quite an optimistic time of year overall and I'm equally optimistic about the year ahead for the Chamber.
We are just off the heels of our annual benefit raffle night fundraiser; I would be amiss if I didn’t take a minute to thank the Lions clubs of Kiel and Winnebago East Shore which put on Casino Night for us.  Without a snowstorm messing up the plans, the night was very well attended with many familiar and unfamiliar faces each stating how much fun was had.  Overall, we had a fantastic turnout!  Businesses who donated items outdid themselves, and many of you reading this took time to stop by and donate time or treasure.  Thank you to all of you who helped make the night a success.
The Chamber is looking to continue to add some value for our members, so our June meeting is being reconfigured to be a 'lunch and learn', we will announce the details soon.  We intend to continue to hold a couple of meetings each year in this format.  However, we are always looking for ideas on what the topic could be.  If you have anything near and dear to your heart, please let us know and we will consider it for future events.
Lastly, the Chamber wants you to feel heard.  I would like to extend the invitation for a conversation over a cup of coffee.  Each of us has our own unique business, unique customer needs and unique challenges.  If we can help connect a growing business to a thriving one, we'd love to learn more about you.  If you need help learning about and working with the formal channels with city hall, we would be happy to help connect you.  The point is, we want to help make sure we are rowing in the same direction as you.  We are not able to provide any help or support if we don’t talk, so let’s talk!  Either reply to the Chamber email at info.newholsteinchamber.com stating your looking to have a cup of coffee together and your email will be forwarded to me, or contact me directly phillip.kubichka@edwardjones.com.
