2025 FIREFIGHTER'S PARADE

The New Holstein Fire Department and the New Holstein Area Chamber of Commerce join in inviting your group/organization/business to participate in the annual Firefighter’s Parade. The parade is held in conjunction
with the New Holstein Firefighter’s Picnic, proceeds from which are used to purchase needed equipment.
• Parade entry fee is $25 (waived for non-profit groups)
• Lineup starts at 9:30 a.m. The lineup area is in the northeast corner of the city. Report to the intersection of Taft
Avenue and Mason Street. Watch for signs and volunteers directing you to your assigned position.
• A dressing room will be available at the New Holstein Public Library, 2226 Park Ave., beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Please use the northeast door. Please inform us ahead of time if you need to use the dressing room.
• IMPORTANT: No sirens, horns, beer or other alcoholic beverages, water balloons or water pistols/guns will
be allowed on any float, truck or unit. The New Holstein Fire Department reserves the right to remove any unit which violates this rule or which is acting in an unsafe manner. It is your responsibility to notify the people operating your float and/or unit of these important rules.
• If you plan on throwing candy, please throw the candy into the crowd beyond the curb and gutter.
• The deadline for parade entries is June 30. Any entries coming in after that may be turned away or placed at
the end of the parade. Please contact us with any changes by the June 30 deadline.
• Please answer questions on the entry form below and return it in the enclosed, self-addressed envelope.
