Our Society, formed in 1961 owns two facilities. The Pioneer Corner Museum (2103 Main Street) houses a variety of collections that highlight the history of New Holstein and its surrounding areas. There is always something new at the Pioneer since we add new displays, exhibits and vignettes each year. One visit is never enough! The Timm House (1600 Wisconsin Avenue) is a restored Stick-Style Victorian home built in 1873 and added onto in 1892. It is decorated to the period of 1898 to 1905.

Hours: The Timm House is open on Saturdays and Sundays from the first weekend in May through the final weekend in September from 1 to 4 pm. It is also open during the month of December for the Timm House Christmas. Times and dates are noted elsewhere on this website.

The Pioneer Corner Museum is open on Saturday & Sunday, 1 - 4 pm from the first weekend in May through the final weekend of September.

Admission is $7.00 for a single ticket to either the Timm House or Pioneer Corner Museum. A $10.00 combo ticket provides admission to both the Timm House and Pioneer Corner Museum. Admissions purchased with a combo ticket do not have to occur on the same day. Combo ticket for a child, 12 & under, is $5.00.

Tabasco’s started December of 2022. While every Mexican Restaurant practically has all the same foods on the menu, it depends on the Cook! Family owned and operated by Felipe and Pa Yia. We both come from different backgrounds. Felipe has been a Cook in the Mexican Cuisine for 25+ years and Pa Yia comes from Asian Restaurant background.

Felipe is from Tabasco Mexico and that’s where the name came from. We decided on Tabasco’s because of all the hard work Felipe has done over the years helping other’s achieve their dreams of becoming Restaurant Owner’s.

Coming from 2 different backgrounds, We hope to be able to not just have Mexican food but a fusion of both Asian and Mexican Cuisine.
